1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal Data

We collect personally identifiable information, such as your (nick)name and email address. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the website. It is possible to book without revealing any personal data during events or after making an appointment by using a nickname and paying in cash.

Payment processor data

We use Stripe, Mollie and Payconic as payment processors. These processors collect financial information, such as data related to your payment method. All financial information is stored by the payment processor. You are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Automatically collected data

Google analytics automatically collects data when you visit, use or navigate the website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, viewed pages, device name, information about how and when you use our website, geographic and demographic data and other technical information. This information is primarily needed for our internal analytics purposes.

Like many organizations, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. The information we collect includes:

  • Log and Usage Data
    Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our website and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity on the website (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports, sometimes called "crash dumps" and hardware settings).

  • Device Data
    We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the website. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.

  • Location Data

How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the website. For example, we may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address). You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information by disabling your location setting on your device. Information collected from social media

In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant services to you and update our records, we may obtain information about you from social media platforms, such as your (nick)name, city, age, gender, friends, likes, RSVP’s, .... Any personal information that we collect from your social media account depends on your social media account's privacy settings.


2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may process information collected about you to:

  • Notify you about new events (if you requested to be notified).

  • Contact you if a spot opened up (if you requested to be on the waiting list).

  • Manage your orders.

  • Process payments and refunds.

  • Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.

  • Respond to contact submissions and messages.

  • Analyze our website traffic.


3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

This privacy notice does not apply to the personal information we process as a “data processor” on behalf of our customers. In those situations, the customer that we provide services to and with whom we have entered into a data processing agreement is the “data controller” responsible for your personal information, and we merely process your information on their behalf in accordance with your instructions. Accordingly, we do not make any guarantee regarding any such third parties, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such third-party websites, services, or applications. The inclusion of a link towards a third-party website does not imply an endorsement by us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy notice. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from the website. 6. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the website to help customize the website and improve your experience. 7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.


8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our services is at your own risk. 9. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to people under 18 years of age. By using the website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Opting out of announcement communications
You can unsubscribe from our announcement communications at any time by contacting us at info@tiey.eu or by replying to the email that we sent. You will then be removed from the announcement list - however, we may still communicate with you, for example to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration, to respond to messages, or for other non-marketing purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “last updated” date of this privacy policy. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
