Shibari THREE

suspension Progressions & Transitions

CONTENT

In the THREE course, we will delve deeper into suspension techniques. We’ll explore the theory of suspension, covering its various types, and delve into the principles of balance and gravity. Progressions and transitions will be a focal point, whether achieved through rope structure, suspension line manipulation, or body movement. We will introduce additional knots and techniques for line management. The Yagami TK (kannuki shibari) will be fine-tuned to enhance posture and achieve correct tension, ensuring greater comfort during longer suspension sessions. The course also emphasizes rigger composure, communication frameworks, model composure, and critical safety elements for models in suspension. By the end of the course, we will complete a full kata suspension exercise together, integrating progressions and a variety of transitions.
